VETERANS SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS
This website was made possible through the partnership and cooperation of Indian's four largest Veterans Service Organizations; The Big Four. Our respective Big Four VSOs, The American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the National Guard Association of Indiana (NGAI) work like unions for veterans.
In Abraham Lincoln's words, to care for those "Who shall have borne the battle and for his widow, and his orphan." Our mission is to support our veterans, their families and our Indiana communities through a variety of means to include legislative advocacy, youth scholarships, VA benefits claims guidance and representation, financial aid and more.
Indiana consistently ranks lowest in the nation for quality of life for veterans. This takes into account taxation on military pension, taxation on active duty wages, programs for children of active service members and veterans, programs for homeless veterans, healthcare and many more areas of priority.
ONLY OUR COLLECTIVE VOICE CAN IMPROVE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR VETERANS IN THE HOOSIER STATE!
